Over the past year or so, I've had the chance to bridge my passion for photography with mountain biking. The response and support I received from the community was unbelievable and it has pushed me to find other ways to use my creative energy to be closer to the sport. Creating a home for that stuff is what led to this site. Call it a store, a blog, a portfolio, I don't know... but I came this far so now I gotta roll with it.
As a designer by trade, whippin' up some jerseys seemed like a good next step, and here we are. I've designed, produced, and tested a series of small batch jerseys inspired by the downhill cowboys & girls deep in the heart of Texas. Over time my goal is to continue to design more small batch custom jerseys, raise funds for trail stewardship, create trail photo diaries, collaborate with local riders and orginizations to design gear, and even offer creative services to get your team in some custom race day digs.
So that's Rodeo, an ode to the best mountain biking Texas has to offer. I'm excited to share more of what I have in store for this site in the new year, but in the meantime I will continue to be shooting photos on race days between taking my own laps. See you on the trail.
Cheers,
John
